The Old Course

It was with some delight that I watched storm clouds roll in towards the Old Course, transforming the sky to a dark slate blue, matched only by the intense green of the fairways and stately red of Hamilton Hall. The fundamental nature of primary colours and the sense of simplicity they evoke have such great appeal. And sat there in the rough, one eye open for wayward golf balls, I thought about how essential this classic view of the Old Course is to the history of golf and felt pleased that my own take on it was primarily simple.
